The User Interface

If you're successfully logged in, you should see the chat interface.

The chat interface

Main Area​

The main area contains the chat input field, after starting a new chat or selecting an chat from the sidebar, the chat history will be displayed here.

Model Selection​

On the top left side you find a dropdown to select the model you want to use. PrivateGPT can be configured to use different models, you can find more information about the models in the models section.

Help​

On the bottom right corner there's a little '?' that shows a menu with links to this documentation and a button to display the keyboard shortcut hints.

Chat History​

On the left side you have a collapsible sidebar with a histroy of your chats, and a button to start a new chat. By default, the chat history is displayed with the most recent chat at the top. At the top of the chat history there's a search field to search for a specific chat. You can also create folders to organize your chats using the "+" button.

Workspace​

If you've got additional rights, you might also see a workspace button.

Account​

On the bottom left and the top right you'll find a button to open the account menu.
